Nathalie Emmanuel

Nathalie Emmanuel was a British actress, best known for playing Missandei in HBO's epic fantasy "Game of Thrones" (HBO 2011, 2011-19). Emmanuel grew up in Southend-on-the-Sea which is a beach resort in Essex and found herself drawn to the arts of performing from the age of three. Nathalie began taking acting, singing, and dance lessons at just three years old. Her parents were delighted. Emmanuel was an impressive actor, who was developing rapidly. At the close of the 90s, she performed the role of young Nala in "The Lion King," a West End musical which has received acclaim. Emmanuel began her auditions at the age of a teenager for roles in film and television. Her first breakthrough came in 2007 when she was selected to be Sasha Valentine, a British soap-opera "Hollyoaks", (Channel 4 95-). Emmanuel performed the role for four years until ending the series in. Emmanuel received her biggest breakthrough on HBO "Game of Thrones" three years later, playing the character of Missandei. This character will be the voice of Daenerys Targaryen's role (portrayed by Emilia Clarke).
